On Saturday, April 28th this year, at the OSiR Bemowo Stadium in Warsaw, the 9th Polish Championships for Children from orphanages took place, during which nearly 400 girls and boys from 40 care and educational institutions from all over the country fought for the title of the Champion of Poland.

The tradition of the Championships is a match of former Polish national representation members vs. children's representation, in which this year played, among others, the long-time ambassador of good will for this Championships Dariusz Dziekanowski, Tomasz Kłos, Radosław Majdan, Marek Jóźwiak, Robert Podoliński, Radosław Gilewicz and Aleksandar Vuković.

After a fierce battle, the Polish Champion's Cup for children from orphanages was awarded to the Sternik team from the care and education centre in Szczecin. The second place went to Children's Village Karlino and the third to DB Team Więcbork.

The best team will play at the 6th World Championships for Children from orphanages, which will take place on 28-29 July this year at the Legia Warszawa City Stadium.

Paso joins this great event as a Championship’s Partner - we have donated gifts for the players. We want to support children who have a difficult start and grow up in orphanages. We realize that they were there through no fault of their own.

We believe that such activities arouse passion and give them hope and chances for a normal life, and thanks to sport  children find joy and a feeling that they are part of a big football family.

Every year, The Polish and World Championships are observed by talent hunters, who give the best players from orphanages a chance to continue football career in professional clubs.

Congratulations to all players and wish you further success.

Now, we are waiting for the World Championships in Football for children from orphanages,  which will take place between 28-29 July 2018 at the Legia Warszawa City Stadium.
